Community Consultative Committee
The purpose of the CCC is to provide a forum for open discussion between representatives of the wind farm, the community, Upper Lachlan Shire Council, Goulburn Mulwaree Council and other stakeholders on issues directly relating to the wind farm, including its environmental performance and community relations, and to keep the community informed on these matters.
The first meeting of the Gullen Range Wind Farm CCC was conducted on Wednesday, 12th October 2016. Meetings will be held indicatively 4-5 times per year. Minutes of meetings will be posted here after a meeting is held.
If you would like to be a member of the Gullen Range Wind Farm CCC, or you would like to attend and observe future meetings, then please contact the CCC’s independent chairperson, Peter Gordon. Peter can be contacted by email at [email protected] or by post at PO Box 5519, Kingston, ACT 2064.
Gullen Range Wind Farm is very excited about the CCC. The CCC compliments our existing community engagement events. It provides a valuable forum for us to interact with the community and we encourage you to apply for membership.
The CCC will be operated generally in accordance with the “Community Consultative Committee Guidelines” issued by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment. These guidelines can be viewed by clicking here.
The next CCC meeting is Wednesday, 23rd June 2021 from 5.30pm at the Crookwell CWA Rooms.
